Food Safety Products was established by two industry experts with complementary fields of experience: catering and food safety.  This industry know-how has been brought together to devise the Heat2Eat Food Safety System

 

 

Lyndon is a partner in three catering businesses.  These businesses are registered with several Environmental Health Departments and he considers it his  joint responsibility to ensure those  businesses adhere to government regulations and legislation covering public food safety.

 

Lyndon says: “For many years I have known how easy and vital it is to use a food probe to check that the required temperatures have been reached''.

 

Yet, when cooking the family Christmas turkey, I realised I was not applying the same standards in my own home.  We did not have a food probe and I said to my wife "its crazy, everyone should be able to have an affordable food probe, and know how to use it to safeguard their own family from the risk of food poisoning".

 

This observation has led to the launch of the Heat2Eat Food Safety System which is an affordable, easy to use, step by step food safety system, which  includes  a food probe.

Stuart worked for almost 30 years in Food Safety Enforcement for a Local Authority and  investigated numerous reported food poisoning outbreaks. Prior to this he was involved in a family owned business in the meat industry.He now teaches and lectures on food safety.

 

It was during Stuart’s professional work, which included providing information to the public on all aspects of food safety and enforcing  food safety standards, that he realized the public were not able to obtain food safety information in a format that was uncomplicated and easy to understand. Says Stuart: “There was a critical gap in the information process.  I’ve witnessed the appalling effects of food poisoning and I felt there was a need for new developments within the domestic and commercial kitchen environment.”

 

In conjunction with Lyndon, Stuart developed the Heat2Eat Food Safety System.

 

Adds Stuart: “We believe this concept is unique in that it offers essential advice on the storing, preparing and heating of food in a simple and easy to understand format.”
